Dr Clayton is the most experienced dermatologist working in the centre of Manchester. With over 20yrs experience in dermatology and dual paediatric and adult membership qualifications you have landed at the right page. Dr Clayton's Consulting rooms are located at 76 King Street in Manchester City Centre. Dr Clayton undertakes consultations and skin assessments in this Central Manchester Dermatology Office every Tuesday morning, every Wednesday and also on alternate Friday mornings. Due to the coronavirus pandemic Dr Clayton can only see 'urgent' dermatology cases and prefers to see 'non-urgent' cases via his virtual online platform. For the foreseeable future his face to face appointments will be on a Tuesday morning. On arrival to the clinic patients and parents must register at the reception. Dr Clayton will check body temperatures of all visitors with an infra-red thermometer. If your temperature is above 37.6c then the appointment will be cancelled a re-arranged. Only two visitors are allowed per appointment, so for example one parent would have to wait whilst the other parent attended the clinic with their child. Again adult patients should only attend with one family member or friend. If you have had a temperature, or persistent cough unto 2 weeks before your appointment then it will need re-arranging. Generally Dr Clayton would prefer patients to attend wearing a face mask and gloves wear appropriate. Dr Clayton is recognised by all major health insurance companies including BUPA, WPA, Beneden, Exeter, BUPA inernational, AXA, Groupama, Aviva. The new consulting suite is located in central Manchester and easily accessible by car or train and within walking distance of Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria Stations.
Dr Clayton can undertake consultations, mole assessments, skin examinations, cryotherapy and minor dermatological procedures in his new clinic. He also provides cosmetic treatments including chemical peels. He can treat scarring from acne with intradermal fine needling (dermapen) and offers facial rejuvenation treatments either via chemical peels, dermal needling or via injection of dermal fillers or botulinum toxin products.
Dr Clayton also performs hyfraecation to acne macro comedones and can treat some vascular lesions with hyfracation in his clinic room.
Dr Clayton has close links with several private and NHS GPs in central Manchester and can arrange blood tests when required.
