Private Dermatology Clinics

Dr Tim Clayton holds private practising privileges at Oakland Hospital, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and at his own private consulting rooms at 76 King Street in Manchester City centre.

Dr Clayton has created his own virtual platform for his patients with no need to download additional software like zoom etc. Please look at the virtual dermatology page here. Only doctors who are on the specialist register are allowed to apply for substantive NHS Consultant posts and register with private health insurance companies.Dr Clayton is BUPA fee assured and is registered with all private healthcare insurance companies including BUPA, Alliance, Aviva and Simply Health.  He fully adheres to the code of practice and fee structures for each insurer.

Dr Tim Clayton’s private dermatology clinics are supported by a strong nursing and administration team.

The skin is complex and less qualified doctors who are not trained consultant dermatologists are prone to miss-diagnosis.

Dr Clayton aims to provide a straight forward and honest opinion about his patient’s skin concerns, whether they are medical or cosmetic in nature.
